Natural Couple Portraits Without Awkward Posing
Most couples tell me that they don’t feel comfortable being photographed. That’s completely normal.
You won’t need to know how to pose or spend much of your wedding away from your guests. I use simple direction, movement and conversation to create natural-looking portraits that still feel polished and considered.
For London weddings, we can plan a short portrait walk around your venue or another nearby location. We'll organise this realistically around your schedule, travel time, access, and any photography restrictions.
The objective is not to turn your wedding into a photoshoot. It is to create memorable portraits while allowing you to enjoy the celebration you have planned.
A South Wales Photographer Available Across London
I’m based in South Wales and travel throughout the UK for weddings, events and photography assignments.
Being based outside London does not change the service you receive. We’ll discuss your venues, timings and travel arrangements before you book, allowing everything to be planned properly in advance.
For weddings involving several London locations, I’ll consider:

London traffic and public-transport times
Parking and equipment access
Photography restrictions or permits
Time required for family photographs
Suitable nearby portrait locations
Any early start or late finish

Booking Your Wedding Photography
Your wedding date is secured once the booking agreement has been completed and the 25% booking fee has been paid.
The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.

1. Check Your Date
Send me your wedding date, venue or venues and the coverage you’re considering. An approximate location is fine if everything hasn’t been confirmed yet.
2. Discuss Your Plans
We’ll talk about your schedule, travel between locations, photography preferences, family photographs and anything particularly important to you.
3. Receive Your Quotation
You’ll receive a clear quotation covering your photography, travel and any necessary accommodation. There will be no unexpected travel charges after you book.
4. Reserve Your Date
Your wedding date is secured once the booking agreement has been completed and the 25% booking fee has been paid.
5. Enjoy Your Wedding
I’ll photograph everything naturally while providing calm direction whenever it is useful. Preview photographs are delivered within 48 hours, followed by your complete gallery within approximately 4–6 weeks.

Are you based in London?
I’m based in South Wales and travel throughout London and the UK for weddings and photography assignments. All travel arrangements and costs are agreed before your booking is confirmed.
Do you photograph London registry-office weddings?
Yes. Shorter coverage is available for registry-office ceremonies, town-hall weddings, elopements and intimate celebrations where full-day photography isn’t required.
Can you cover a wedding taking place at several London locations?
Yes. If your preparations, ceremony and reception are taking place at different locations, we’ll build realistic travel time into the photography schedule.
Are travel costs included?
Travel depends on the date, locations and coverage required. Any travel or accommodation costs will be included clearly in your quotation before you book.
How long do you stay for a full-day wedding?
I normally begin approximately two to three hours before the ceremony and continue through the ceremony, reception, speeches, cake cutting and first dance. I usually stay for around 30 minutes after the first dance.
How many photographs will we receive?
I don’t limit full-day galleries to an artificial number. You’ll receive every strong, usable photograph needed to tell the complete story of your wedding.
When will we receive our photographs?
Preview photographs are delivered within 48 hours. Complete wedding galleries are normally ready within approximately 4–6 weeks.
Do you help with posing?
Yes, but the direction is kept relaxed and straightforward. I’ll help with positioning, movement and expression without using complicated or unnatural poses.
What happens if it rains?
Rain won’t prevent you from receiving great photographs. I’ll use suitable indoor spaces, covered locations and any breaks in the weather. London also provides plenty of architectural and sheltered options when conditions change.
Can we arrange photographs somewhere away from our venue?
Yes, provided it can be included realistically within your wedding schedule. We’ll consider travel time, access, permissions and how long you are comfortable spending away from your guests.
Do you provide a second photographer?
A second photographer can be added when additional coverage would be useful, particularly for larger weddings, simultaneous preparations or celebrations taking place across several locations.
Can we add an album after our wedding?
Yes. You can include an album when booking or order one after receiving your finished gallery and choosing your favourite photographs.
